So much to see and do - we call Vilano our "slice of paradise." Here are the places we send our own family and friends.
⭐A little history
St. Augustine is the nation's oldest city - founded in 1565, the oldest continuously occupied settlement in the United States. Stroll the brick-lined streets and enjoy its European flavor: centuries-old buildings, horse-drawn carriages, hidden courtyards and trolley tours.
⭐Beach days and state parks
Start at Matanzas Inlet, one of Florida's most beautiful beach spots, with Fort Matanzas State Park and its free boat ride to the Spanish watchtower. Same day, see Washington Oaks State Gardens or the dolphins at Marineland. Another day: Anastasia State Park for kayaking or paddle boarding, and the Alligator Farm. Kids (and kids at heart) can take surf lessons at The Surf Station by the park entrance.
⭐Golf
World Golf Village and its IMAX theater are 10 minutes away; TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra is 27 minutes. Golf on a budget at the St. Johns County public course.

Optional golf-cart rentals (4-seat and 6-seat) are available through Finn Golf Carts, a separate rental business that delivers to Vilano 101 homes. Carts are not included with the home and are booked separately.
